Our Staff

The Hunter Centre is run by a team of experienced and highly trained staff all of whom have worked for many years with the elderly and, specifically, with those living with dementia

Our Operations Manager, Elaine Clement and her Deputy, Denise Sawczuk, have over 20 years’ experience in dementia care. They are ably supported by the wonderful team of Bev, Caz, Lynne, Debbie and Tina as well as our bank support regulars, Gilly, Sarah, Lily and Joanne.

  • As one who has regularly visited The Hunter Centre for over a year I’d like to say how consistent I’ve found the staff in terms of giving the visitors a good time and looking after their needs with care and compassion.

    Visitors are warmly welcomed and given activities to stimulate and occupy them as meaningfully as possible. Caring for people suffering from varying degrees of dementia requires much understanding and a loving heart. I believe family members and friends of visitors to The Hunter Centre can rest assured that their loved ones will be in extremely good hands.

  • I’m the dance officer and disability arts tutor at The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre, Bordon and I regularly lead seated exercise to music sessions at The Hunter Centre. The staff at the Centre are very friendly, cheerful, professional and caring and the atmosphere is always positive and supportive. The staff engage the clients in a range of enjoyable and stimulating activities and always make time for everyone. It’s a lovely place that makes everyone smile!
